Unitronic Authorized Dealer CBTuning has teamed up with Faulkner-Ciocca Volkswagen in Allentown, PA to provide some extra performance to drivers who are still searching for their own MK6 GTI. A previous Unitronic Client, Eric Shell, stopped by the dealership to take a look at the package that CBTuning and Faulkner-Ciocca Volkswagen put together for the enthusiast that is looking for a little more right out of the dealership showroom.
Unitronic has been working with our Authorized Dealer Premier Autowerkz (Dealer Info), to give one of their client’s something special. If a Lamborghini in itself wasn’t unique enough, this iteration of Italian bull is coined the LP550-2 Indonesia Limited Edition and is delivered in a striking Verde Ithaca green. As the nomenclature might have tipped you off, the RWD configuration and 550HP in stock form should be a handful for any driver, but the owner wanted to see what power Unitronic could do with their 5.2L V10 supercar, and we gladly obliged.
JR Zacotinsky (U-20T on GolfMK6.com enthusiast forums) and his 2.0L TSI equipped 2011 MK6 GTI have been itching for more power. Previously making 370WHP, JR’s EJ400 equipped TSI was ready for the challenge! This past week, with the assistance of our Authorized Dealer, Force Fed Engineering and their Dynojet 224x Chassis Dynamometer, we were able to take our Big Turbo Performance Software calibration to the next level, making 470WHP/390WTQ , before the PTE 5530 turbo exceeded it’s capabilities. Boost was set at 28PSI, on pump gas and water/methanol injection, and featuring our newly released TSI High Output Fuel System upgrade. Despite all of these modifications, the car is still his daily driver!
Unitronic returns for a third year as title sponsor of Eurokracy 2013!
Watching the event grow since its inception, Unitronic has supported the premiere VAG gathering in Canada and could not be more excited for the event this year. After the highly successful Eurokracy 2012, the venue has moved to Napierville Dragway on June 29th, 2013 to allow for more cars, more space, and even a full 1320′ begging to be used. With travelers coming from all over Canada and the United States, Eurokracy has grown into an event all of its own with a vibe that only an international city like Montreal can provide.
Usually, -25C temperatures signals everyone to lock the doors, park the car, get inside and wait for fairer weather. It is a downright harsh climate that most people avoid entirely and some never even experience, but here in Quebec, the advent of winter forces gearheads to tuck their gravel scraping dailies into storage and bring out their cars suited to another purpose entirely. The third rule holds fast, but when time trials are done and it is time to race, the first two rules become merely guidelines that are meant to be broken when all that’s left is first place.
