Winter in Canada is a long, arduous affair; when the big freeze comes and takes hold, it doesn't let go. There are enthusiasts who park their cars, and wait for the days of spring to start the thaw, and then there are those dedicated to making the best out of what the Canadian winter has to offer. Ice racing is an annual event in Quebec and is definitely a spectacle to watch. We headed out last weekend to catch a glimpse of what the drivers brought for 2015!
Gab Eurosport is a fixture at the races year after year and for 2015, they returned with two cars, their TT225 running Unitronic Stage 2+, as well as a MK4 Jetta using Unitronic Big Turbo 630cc software. The Jetta was all new for 2015 and was driven by Marc Landreville, which will help bolster the teams attempt at the top spot this season.
A longtime veteran of the Ice Racing circuit DM Motorsport returned with their MKIV GTI to compete, and was running hard all day.
