Company History

The Unitronic story is an intriguing epic. Two Mikes (Michel Szmigiel and Michal Zielinski), passionate about everything related to modified cars, share a particular profound admiration for German automobiles. The superior workmanship of these cars thoroughly embodies their vision of perfection.

The fundamental search for performance first emerged with Mike Z's purchase of a TDI 1.9L. In spite of its promises on paper, the car was too slow. At this point, however, research in engine tuning management systems did not allow the two Mikes to balance the power increase and smoothness of their ride.

Since this type of equilibrium is essential to a pleasurable driving experience, they were compelled to develop software that was more reliable, flexible, and powerful at the same time. Several years of research, development, and sampling of existing products were required to perfect their models through rigorous tests and analyses. The challenge lay in acquiring an in-depth understanding of the logic behind Bosch engineering, so that they could then coherently follow their reasoning.

Eventually, after having fully scrutinized diesel engines and listened to many friends voice dissatisfaction towards gasoline engines, the two colleagues settled upon the 1.8T platform. This decision exposed several avenues for development, due to the rarity of this type of product in the world of modified cars. These avenues attracted both Mikes, and they were each determined to follow their dreams and conquer all obstacles... but not separately. Merging passion and rigor, the two founders formed an extremely competent and unified team. Unitronic was born.

After intense exploration and investigation into opportunities for various combinations of injectors and turbos, Unitronic rose to a specialized position of authority in 630cc injector tuning. Our progress in the field has been such that the company, based in Laval, is now offering the highest available tuning options for all ranges of Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, Skoda and Opel cars. We were the reference when no other products were available, and now we are the leaders.

Mike and Mike's extensive knowledge of IT put us in the right place at the right time, and that was how we got into the tuning industry. Today, decoding an engine management system has become second nature to us. Along with that, we also love fostering a passion for driving in our customers.
